Whiteboard
Starting April 18, 2023, the Zoom Whiteboard tool is available for users to create a whiteboard in a Zoom meeting. The Zoom Whiteboard allows the host and other participants to draw, type text, insert sticky notes, upload files, and more – all in one shared space built into the Zoom application.

Please refer to the knowledge base article, Zoom: Overview of Zoom Whiteboard for more information on how to create, use, and manage whiteboards.

Meeting Join Flow
Zoom is releasing a new meeting join flow to streamline the way people join meetings. Among the improvements is a consolidation of the windows users see when joining, such as ‘waiting for host’ and ‘the waiting room’. Please refer to this article on New Meeting Join Flow FAQ for more information.

There is no action required by users and no changes to the login process for hosts or participants to use these new enhancements in Zoom. However, it is recommended to download and update to the latest version of Zoom (version 5.12 or higher) for the most optimal experience and security.
